Background:

After graduating from the University of Texas with a Bachelor of Arts degree, Mikel Eggert earned a Juris Doctor degree from St. Mary's University School of Law in San Antonio, Texas. While there, Mr. Eggert was accepted as a candidate for the St. Mary's Criminal Justice Clinic and held a third-year bar card. He was a writer for the St. Mary's Law Review, The Scholar. He also won both the St. Mary's Mock Trial and Moot Competitions in 2001 and 2002.
